Rachel Lee Ray Fisher, 70, of Stanley, passed away on February 13, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Gaston County on December 18, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Major and Pearl Savage Ray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 7 sisters and 1 brother
She was a beloved woman who adored everyone she was a second mother to a lot of people. She had a spark in her that drew everyone to her and she will be greatly missed!
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband James "Jim" Edward Fisher; two sons, Jeffrey Fisher and Rosa Roberts of Stanley, Robert Fisher and his wife Amy of Belmont; daughter, Nikki F. Drumm and her husband Steven of Stanley; grandchildren, Blaine, Garrett, Josh, A.J. and one great grandchild Brayden.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17th at New Life Baptist Church, 201 Oak Trail, Belmont, NC 28012
Graveside Service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Gardens, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Highway, Mt. Holly with Reverend Allen Foreman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the family.
