Phyllis Price Stowe

Phyllis Price Stowe, 84, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024 with her loving family by her side. 

She was born in Rowan County on February 5, 1940 to the late Carl and Vera Price. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Price Stowe; siblings, Bill Price, Bobby Price, Linda Howe, Cathy Price, and Shirley Frisbee. 

Dean was the owner and operator of Deans Beauty Shop in Gastonia for many years. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and making many happy memories to be cherished by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her sons, Mark Treadway (Donna) and Keith Treadway (Tracy); six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. 

Family and friends will gather from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sunshine Club at Grace Baptist Church, 2200 Auten Road, Gastonia NC, 28054 or to a favorite charity of your choice.
