Dallas – Peggy Lynn Ashworth Wooten, 70 passed away November 24, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Anderson, South Carolina on May 13, 1951 to the late Roy Powell Ashworth and Dorothy Grace McLeese Ashworth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wooten and her siblings.
She retired from textiles and later Peggy and her husband Robert enjoyed breeding poodles. She also enjoyed watching her cop shows on the television. She was very friendly and loved talking to her neighbors and her friends at the Nursing Home. She was a loving and kind daughter, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Survivors include her greatest accomplishment, her family; son, Kevin Carithers and wife Deanna; her wonderful grandchildren, Nathan and Callie; and many loving friends.
