Peggy J. Guess

Gastonia' Mrs. Peggy Jean Guess, 72 of 4709 Chapel Grove Road passed away peacefully April 11, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Gaston County, born March 1, 1939 to the late Geraldine Hudson. Peggy was preceded in death by her Mother, Son, Johnny Robert Guess.
She was retired from Homelite
Survivors include her husband of 51 years JR Guess
Sons Bryan Douglas Guess and wife Denise of Lincolnton; Charles Alvin Guess of Bryson City; Chris Guess of Gastonia
Eight Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren and one on the way; One Brother, Michael Eugene Long
The family will receive friends 6-8 Thursday, April 14 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bud Jernigan officiating
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery
