Charlotte-Peggy Candler Haynes Carr, 81 of Charlotte passed away peacefully August 19, 2012 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville.
She was born December 5, 1930 in Henderson County to the late Boyd and Ann Candler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bernard Carr.
Peggy was a retired nurse with Presbyterian Hospital.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her loving children, Chip and Kathy Haynes of Gastonia, Sharon and Mike Kennedy of Stanley;
Grandchildren, Matthew, Amber, Austin and Olivia; her extended family Marilyn, Arnold, Jeanne and Jeff Wells; her Christian sister Betty Sain;

Celebration of Life service will be 1:00pm, Saturday, August 25 at Holly Hunter Baptist Church, 4316 Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC 28216
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service at the church
