Rock Hill- Pauline Cloninger Cook, 82 of 3025 Chesbrough Blvd., Rock Hill went home to be with the Lord November 13, 2011 at her residence.
She was a native of Gaston County, born July 28, 1929 to the late Loy Walter and Lanie Jane Stroupe Cloninger.
She was a 1947 graduate of Clover High School, and a graduate of Evans Business College. Pauline was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church. She was Secretary for the Gaston Country Club for over 37 years. She was a member and past president of Professional Secretaries International Assoc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franklin Calvin Cook and a daughter Renae Cook, sister Betty Rice.
Survivors include her daughter Janice Sullivan and husband Paul of Seattle, WA.;
Grandchildren, Monica and Brian Sullivan;
Great Grandchildren, Taylor Renae and Brandon.
Brothers, Billy Cloninger of McConnells and Harold Cloninger of Clover, SC; Sisters Jean Robinson of Clover, SC
The family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service at the funeral home
A Celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm, Thursday November 17, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery
