Paul J. Woody

Paul Junior Woody, 79 of Dallas, NC died September 8, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Clay County, NC on August 22, 1930 to the late Paul John and Verna Moffitt Woody.
Paul Loved the Lord and his family. He was an active member of Community Baptist Church, Dallas. During his life he taught Sunday School and a past Deacon. He retired from Pharr Yarns with 43 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles J. Woody.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Brewer Woody,
Sons, Bruce E Woody and wife Merinda, Barry J. Woody all of Hayesville, NC
Daughter, Paula W. Best and husband Darrell of Dallas, NC
Grandsons, Brett C. and Barrett D. Woody of Hayesville, NC
(3) Special Girls Angel, Tiffany and Hillary Owens of Hayesville, NC
Sisters, Christine Moss of Hayesville and Neil Elders and husband Ralph of Dallas, NC; Numerous nieces and nephews

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Community Baptist Church Dallas, 3:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2009 with the Rev. Matt Seagle and Rev. David Maulden officiating
The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 prior to the service
Interment will be in Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
Pallbearers: Brett Woody, Barrett Woody, Calvin Brewer, Stephen Huffstetler, Eddie Simmons and Ben Moore
Honorary Pallbearers will be His Sunday School Class
