Gastonia- Patty Sue Griffith, 40, passed away July 24, 2009 at her residence.
She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of Willara McClure and the late Homer Griffith.
Survivors include her mother, two brothers, Johnny and Terry Johnson, a sister Renea Griffith, stepmother Brenda Griffith, life long friends Kimberly and Paula Teague.
She is preceded in death by her father, and a sister, Melissa Johnson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm Friday at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
