Patricia Sauder Miller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Sauder Miller, who left us on March 12, 2025, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. Born on September 2, 1954, in Port Lyautey, Morocco, Patricia was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and charm affected everyone she met.

Patricia dedicated many years of her life to the Gaston County Parks and Recreation, where her commitment to her career enriched the community, she cherished. She was not only a devoted professional but also a fun-loving person who embraced life with an open heart, bringing joy to all those around her. Patricia's endearing personality allowed her to make friends wherever she went, meeting every stranger with a smile and a story.

Family held a special place in Patricia's heart, and she loved spending time with them above all else. She leaves behind her lifelong companion, Ron Sauder, and her two beloved children, Jason Miller (with wife Amy) and Lindsey Bost. The joy of her life also included her grandchildren, Jordan Miller and Jeremiah McMullen, who brought endless love and light into her days. Patricia's sister, Sandra West (along with her wife Wendy), will carry forward the loving memories they shared.

Those who are no longer with us but remain in our hearts include her parents, Ralph and Pearl Champion, her nephew Chris Johnson, and her brother-in-law Henry Johnson. Their memory continues to inspire and guide Patricia's family.

In celebration of Patricia's life, a visitation with family will take place on March 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM at 712 N Main St, Lowell, NC 28098. It will be an occasion filled with love, remembrance, and gratitude for the beautiful moments shared.

Patricia was also an adventurous spirit who enjoyed riding her motorcycle with Ron, embracing the freedom of the open road and the thrill of life’s adventures. Her laughter, kindness, and indomitable spirit will be sorely missed but will live on in the hearts of all she touched. We cherish the memories we've created together and know that Patricia's legacy of love will forever remain a guiding light for her family and friends.
