Otis was born in Gaston County January 17, 1955 to Bonnie Wilson Hammonds and Odell Hammonds.
He was a self employed Handyman
He is preceded in death by his Father, Grandmother Emma Worley, Brothers Tommy, Willie, and Odell Jr. Hammonds.
Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Wilson Hammonds of Gastonia; Son, Christopher Hammonds;
And Daughters, Ciera Palmer and Breanna Palmer
Grandchildren Mitchell, Dida, and Austin Hammonds, Autumn Palmer
One Brother, Ronald Hammonds of Gastonia
Four Sisters, Ruby McGugan of Westminister, SC,
Jessie Woodell of Bessemer City,
Glenda Diane Hedrick and Sharon Holland of Gastonia
The family will receive friends at 4708 Grier St. Gastonia.
Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Friday, April 16, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Park
