Bessemer City – Norman Lynn McCoy, 57, passed away on January 3, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Gaston County on March 10, 1962 to the late Earl Ray McCoy and Hazel Helms McCoy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Pete McCoy and John Adams, Jr.
Left to cherish his memories includes his wife of 18 years, Martha Ann Beaucham McCoy; his children, Marty, Janneke, Joost, and Jocobus Vermeulen, Angie Rankin, Tracy McCoy and Margaret McCoy; siblings, Rachel Medford, Renee McFalls, Debbie Wright, Jimmy McCoy, Robert Adams and Tim Adams; His Grandchildren, Isabella, Anna Baucom, Janneke Heleena Ann Ward, Jennylee Isabella Michelle Ward, Angel Baucom, Austin Bucom, Kourtney Vermeulen, Zoe Hullinger, Kirsten Butler, Cameron Vermeulen, Braylen Hullinger, Shyann, Kayla Vermeulen, Anna Medford, Layla McCoy; His Great-Grandchild Hannah Garmon.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on January 18, 2020 at Crowders Chapel Christian Center, 111 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia, NC 28052 with Pastor Jerry Willard and Pastor Randy Richardson officiating.
