Dallas –Nora Boggs Costner, 96 entered into her Heavenly Home on August 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Gaston County, NC on July 26, 1921
She was preceded in death by her parents William Henderson Boggs and Stacey Armstrong Boggs, her husband, Buddy Costner, daughter Linda Day, her brothers and sisters Andy, Guy, Tom, Bonnie, Janie, Melva and Ruthie.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Nora was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and especially family meals on Sunday. She made the best yeast roll ever. She was the BEST Mom!!
Survivors include her sons, Ray Costner and wife Sara of Atlanta, GA, David Costner and wife Lois of Dallas, Dennis Costner of Dallas daughter Dean Tate and husband Ronald of Dallas;
grandchildren, Elizabeth, Douglas, Andy, Michael, Justin, Jason, Crystal and Ronnie; Seven great grandchildren
The family will be receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service, with A Celebration of life service to follow at 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Reverend Jonathan A. Schnibben, STS officiating
Interment will at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery
