Dallas-Nina Warren Holcomb, 86, of 708 Todd Street, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Gaston County., born June 30, 1923 to the late John and Eunice Henderson Warren
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jestus James Holcomb, and a daughter, Loretta Dean Gentry
Brothers: Carl, George, Robert, Ralph and Neil Warren;
Sisters: Janie Large and Annie Mae Davis
Mrs. Holcomb was a life long member of Beulah Land Baptist Church, Bessemer City
Survivors include children: Darlene Eason of Ranlo, Larry Holcomb and wife Charlotte of Dallas, son-in-law Steve Gentry.
Brother: Clarence Warren and wife Jessie of Gastonia; sister-in-law, Hildred Warren of Gastonia
Grandchildren: Travis Eason, Joshua Hollifield, Dionna Cooke, Matthew Gentry, Chelsea Gentry, Chris Farmer, Joseph Brown and Tracey Honeycutt
Great Grandchildren, Peyton Stamey, Hanna Hollifield and Brandon Gentry
Family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00pm Monday, January 11, 2010 at the funeral home
Funeral service will be 3:00pm-Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Lee and Rev. Mike Criswell officiating
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Time section
