Cramerton - Nellie Rose Byers Cloninger, 82 went home to be with her Lord and Savior December 4, 2016 at Alexandria Place.
She was born in Gaston County on August 9, 1934 to the late Robert Worth Byers and Mary Lee Stephens Byers.
She was a graduate of Cramerton High School and loved living in Cramerton. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Nellie was a member of the Beautiful Advisory, Cramerton Citizens Advisory Board. She was also named Woman of the Year in Cramerton. She enjoyed watching the birds, reading and her cats.
Left to cherish her memories include her son, Jon Christopher Cloninger and wife Donna, daughters Melanie Diane Cloninger and Candace Leigh Cloninger; grandson Christopher James Cloninger and wife Heather; brothers Michael Keith Byers and wife Rena, Larry Wayne Byers and wife Willie
A Celebration of life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Allen Lefler, Reverend Steve Hicks and Reverend Jeremy Burrell officiating
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church
Interment will be Private at Evergreen A Quiet Place.
