Naomi F. Abernathy

Gastonia- Mrs. Naomi Smart Abernathy, 75, of 1000 Harper Road, Gastonia died June 16, 2009 at Belaire Health Care Center. She was a native of Clover, SC born July 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late David Edward Smart and Lena McDaniel Smart. Preceded in death by her parents, her Husband, Leonard R Abernathy, Sr, a son, Leonard R Abernathy, Jr., brother, Kenneth M Smart and a sister, Joann Sprouse Mrs. Abernathy is survived by her Grandaughter, Lisa Marie Abernathy of Gastonia A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, at Gaston Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Lisa Marie Abernathy, 1000 Harper Road Gastonia.
