Dallas – Nancy Carolyn Camp Whitaker, 71 passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at her daughters.
She was born in Gaston County on April 16, 1943 to the late Clyde Ernest and Eula Elizabeth Ramsey Camp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years, Vernon Lee Whitaker
Nancy was a member of Fraley Memorial Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles.
Nancy retired from Carolina Mills with over 30 years of service as an Administrative Assistant.
Survivors include her children; Michael Vernon Whitaker (Loucretia), Lisa Whitaker Morgan (Joey) and Sabrina Whitaker Crain (Mark),
grandchildren, Aaron, Kristina, Josh, Miranda Morgan, Sydney and Cameron
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at Fraley Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. Warnen Doles officiating.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 5:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
