Gastonia – Nancy Marie Fore Strange - 72, passed away on June 23, 2020 at her residence.
She was born in Gaston County on February 8, 1948 to the late James and Margaret Morgan Fore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Steve Clyde Strange and brothers, Wayne, Gilbert and Charles Fore.
She retired from manufacturing and later enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a life long Atlanta Braves fan; she never missed watching a game on television.
She also enjoyed working and spending time in the yard.
Nancy is survived by her son, Scott Strange and wife Linda of Gastonia;
grandchildren, Steven (Trey) Strange (Brandi) Greg Isenhour (Rebekah);
great-grandchildren, Lex, Jaxon and Gabriel; her siblings, Mozelle Pittman, Rodney Fore, Diane Putnam, Janie McCarter, Gail Brown, Judy Hoyle, Donald (Buster) Fore and Kathy Propst; and many nieces and nephews
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 26th in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel.
