Belmont- Myrtle Pender Russ, 85, passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2015.
She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on February 10, 1930 to the late John Clarence and Flora Belle Bartlett Pender.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Elizabeth Hubbell.
Myrtle was a member of Flint Groves Baptist Church and was a caregiver to many families for years. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her!
Survivors include her son, John Michael Hubbell and wife Maria of Concord; daughter, Kim Buchanan of Belmont; grandchildren, Ashley Buchanan, Charles Hubbell, Missy Laney and Cameron Block; sister, Mary Elizabeth Weber.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at 12 noon at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Bowers officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service
Interment will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
