Gastonia- Myrtle Lorrene Gantt Parrott, 84 of Gastonia passed away March 28, 2010 at Alexandria Place. She was a native of Gaston County, born November 19, 1925 to the late
David Leroy and Louise Elizabeth Knight Gantt
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Keith Parrott
Myrtle was retired from Homelite, Inc. with over 18 years service
Survivors include her children, Reggie Parrott and wife Patti of Gastonia, Terry Parrott and wife Lisa of Clover, SC;
Daughter-in-law: Doris Parrott of Charlotte
Brother, Pervey Gantt and wife Penny,
Sisters: Helen Whitlock, Bobbie Price and husband Clyde,
Marlene Dalton;
Grandchildren: Josh Parrott, Sierra Parrott, Morgan Parrott
and Terry Parrott, II
Family will receive friends 1 hr prior at the funeral home
Private Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Creel and her grandson, Josh Parrott officiating
