Myrtle B. Carson

Gastonia- Myrtle Brookshire Carson, 88, of Gastonia died December 7, 2009 at Rehab and Health Care of Gastonia.
She was a native of Greenville County, SC, daughter of the late William Bryan and Pearl Powell Brookshire.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul W. Carson and a brother, James B. Brookshire.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Sue and David Clayton of Bamberg, SC; Grandsons: David Paul Clayton of Ehrhardt, SC and Bryan Luther 'Luke' Clayton and wife Jessica of Alexandria, VA

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, December 11, 2009 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Will Holland officiating
Family will receive friends 1 hr prior to the service
Interment will be follow at Gaston Memorial Park,
Fountain 2-A section, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054, Pallbearers will be Grandsons, David Paul Clayton and Bryan Luther "Luke" Clayton,John Holland, Bob Holland,Reid Sipe, Honorary Pallbearers will be David Holland and Tommy Lee Holland
