Gastonia – Myrl Ethel Stewart Linton, 74 passed away November 15, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Cook County, Ill. on November 8, 1940 to the late Jack Parker and Mary Catherine Pellman Stewart

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Loris Clair Linton, Sr. who died in 1988; grandsons, Robbie Linton and Jason Linton

Survivors include sons Loris C. Linton, Jr., and William Bian Linton; daughter Lois Linton Raby and husband Curtis; brothers Jack Stewart and Robert Stewart; sisters Norma Stewart and Mary Stewart and grandchildren Tony, Michael, Chad, Jason, Jon and Christopher; three great grandchildren.
