Gastonia- Myra Jane Vernon, 55, went home to be with her Lord October 18, 2010 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas.
She was born November 30, 1954 , daughter of the late Ruben and Marjorie Jenkins Rhyne.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years Earl Vernon, daughter Kimberly Carter and Husband Thomas, a brother, Ruben Rhyne, sisters Carolyn Stiles, Alene McAbee, Louise Hunt, grandchildren Chris Griffie, Brittany Green, and Andrew Carter.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Hillview Baptist Church with Reverend Reavis Fox officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday night at the Church
