Kings Mountain – Minnie Lee Foster, 61, passed away on September 28, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at her residence.
Born in Spartanburg, SC on March 5, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Eva Tucker Foster.
Minnie was a very loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her entire family. She enjoyed gardening and beautiful flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joey Capps.
Survivors include her sons, Frankie Blanton and Scottie Blanton; daughters; Lisa Blanton, Michele Capps (Ray); Tina Arthurs (Gary); 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Franklin Foster, Donald Foster (Tilly); sisters, Joan Sanders (Willard); Betty Ross (Archie); Janet Gibson (John) and Brenda Creely (Nate)
Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, October 2nd at 1:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Criswell officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, 111 South Dilling Street, Kings Mountain, NC
