Dallas – Mildred Carpenter Wall, 71 passed away on September 16, 2022 at her residence

With her family and friends by her side.

She was born on November 25, 1950 in Gaston County, to the late Boggie and Frances Heath Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a son Sandy Wall; brother, Vernon Carpenter.

Mildred worked at Walmart for over 23 years before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David Wall; her daughter Deanna Falls and husband Chris; her beloved grandchildren, Tia and Sandy Falls; her brother, Donald Carpenter and many wonderful friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2022 at Gaston Memorial Park, War Memorial IV section with Pastor Scott Whitener officiating.

Pallbearers will be Chris Falls, Matt Branch, Gary Brown, Randy Falls, Josh Wall, Frederick H. Cloninger, and Sandy Falls.
