Maiden – Mildred James Jones, 86, passed away on December 9, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice
She was born in Catawba County on June 14, 1929 to the late George and Eunice Henry James
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lee Jones; brothers, David James, J.D. James; sisters, Juanita White and Martha Patterson
Survivors include her sons, George L. James (Sherry) of Maiden; Willie R. James of Dobbs Ferry, NY; daughter, Roxanna Jones of Maiden
brothers; Charles James of Silver Springs, MD and Frank James of White Plains, NY
sisters; Laviena Finger of Lincolnton, Mary Helen Ramseur of Maiden
4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 14th at Mt. Olive FBH Church, 116 Ramseur Road, Maiden, NC 28650 with Reverend Jacqueline Elliott officiating
Visitation for family and friends will be 1 hour prior to the service
Interment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, NC
