Dallas - Mildred Cagle Green, 96, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019 at her residence with her loving daughter by her side.
She was born in Jackson County, NC on August 18, 1922 to the late E.B. and Mattie Sutton Cagle. She was the last survivor of 11 children.
In addition to her parents and 10 brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Woodrow Green.
Mildred was a 1941 graduate of Webster High School. She retired from Varet Industries in Cherryville. She enjoyed cooking and sewing for family and friends. She was an active member of Dallas Baptist Church for over 65 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Gayla, of Dallas and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 2nd at Dallas Baptist Church.
