Gastonia ' Mike Manchoff , 85, of 1010 Forestbrook Drive Gastonia passed away August 2, 2011 at his residence. He was a born in Mason City, Iowa, born April 30, 1926 to the late Peter and Mata Raskova Manchoff.
Mike was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Masonic Lodge #406 Burbank, CA. He retired from Northrop Grumman as a senior buyer.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters, Mary Nichols and Ann Bergman.

Survived by his wife of 51yrs., Carolyn Shuford Manchoff;
his daughters, Michelle Romberger and husband Keith of Waynesville, Melissa Manchoff of Gastonia,
Monica Watkins and husband Norman of Waynesville,
Marla Darden and husband Joel of Greensboro;
His grandchildren, Kielle Romberger, Keaton Romberger, Connor Lobianco and Mason Darden. Nieces, Roxie Robinson and Lori Eagle; a nephew, Steve Nichols
Celebration of life service will be 4:00pm Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating. Masonic services to follow by King Solomon Lodge 704 AF & AM
The family will receive friends 2:30 until 3:30 prior to the service
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Honor section with Military honors by the NC National Army Honor Guard Club.
