Cramerton- George Michael "Mike" Huss, 71 passed away peacefully on March 15, 2017 at the Robin Johnson House in the loving care of hospice.
He was born in Gaston County, to the late George Brice Huss, Jr., and Mickie Thomas Huss.
Mike retired from Freightliner with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Hardin Huss; his children Lisa Laib, Jennifer Chandler, Somer Lawrence (Mike), Kelli Huss(Joe Touvell); stepdaughter Niki Knight (Wayne) stepson, Mike Owens; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Candace Hulsey and brother, Joe S. Huss and a niece Amy Pittinaro and his mother-in-law, Lillian Carpenter.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel Interment will be private
