Gastonia – Michael Spake "Mike" Friday, 70 died on January 19, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center holding his "big brothers" hand.
He was born in Gaston County on August 17, 1947 to the late Earl Ervin Friday, Sr and Ocie Ezelee Spake Friday.
Mike was a 1965 graduate of Dallas High School. He had worked at Public Service and W.A. Warehouse and late retired from Gaston County Park and Recreation. Mike was a U.S. Army veteran.
Left to cherish his memories includes his son, Shannon Jason Friday;
brother and sister in law, Earl Erving Friday, Jr and wife Janice;
nephew, Earl Ervin "Butch" Friday, III and wife Lisa Womble Friday,
niece, Angie Friday Houser and husband Stacy;
3 great nieces and nephews
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday January 26th at Gaston Memorial Park
