McAdenville-Harold 'Mickey' Micheal Roper, 55 of McAdenville died August 22, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Gaston County, born July 28, 1955 to the late Harold and Mary Edith Bynum Roper. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Kathy Roper Woods, Reba Gardin, and Donna Roper.
Mickey worked for Sonny Hancock for many years
Survivors include his wife Rita Martin Roper, a daughter, Micah Roper and fianc' Josh Pate of Dallas and a granddaughter, Presley Pate
The family will receive friends 10:30 until 11:00 Thursday prior to the service
A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00AM, Thursday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Dogwood I with the Releasing of the doves
