He was a graduate of Shelby High School and owner of Complete Property Maintenance in Dallas
Survivors include his wife, Aundrea Michelle Surratt, mother Joann Surratt, sons Michael Alexander Surratt and Taylor James Philbeck all of Dallas daughter April Leighann Austin of Dallas and Brandy Henderson of Rutherfordton
Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel The family will receive friends following the service
Interment will be Private
