Gastonia-Michael "Mike" Looper Whitley, 64 of Gastonia passed away peacefully July 18, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House.
He was a native of Gaston County, born March 30, 1949 to the late Herbert and Wilma Looper Whitley.
Mike was a U. S. Army veteran, and had retired from Whitley Textiles Parts.
Survivors include a daughter and grandson
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm, Monday, July 22 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Kuiken officiating.
Interment will be private at Bessemer City Cemeter
