Gastonia – Michael Spake "Mike" Friday, 70 passed away on January 19, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Gaston County on August 17, 1947 to the late Earl Ervin Friday, Sr and Ocie Ezelee Spake Friday.

Mike had worked at Public Service and W.A. Warehouse and late retired from Gaston County Park and Recreation. He was a U.S. army veteran.

Left to cherish his memories includes his brother and sister in law, Earl Erving Friday, Jr and wife Janice; nephew, Earl Ervin "Butch" Friday, III and wife Lisa Womble Friday, Angie Friday Houser and husband Stacy; 3 great nieces and nephews
