Gastonia – Michael Shane Lyles, 24 passed away December 24, 2018 in an automobile accident in Evans, Georgia.
He was born in Sumter, South Carolina on December 29, 1993 to Major Betty Lyles and the late Major Jerry Lyles. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother Alex Lyles; grandfather, Richard Davis.
Michael was an Assistant to the Commanding Officer of the Salvation Army in Cartersville, Georgia. Michael was a graduate of Concord High School, Concord, North Carolina.
Michael loved to write and sing Rap Music.
Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Major Betty Lyles; his brothers, Captain Scott Lyles (Michelle), Captain Chris Lyles (Elisa); sister, Kayla Brown; four nieces, Abigail, Madison, Tatiana, and Carla.
Services will be private and at a later date.
