Dallas – Michael Jeffery Coleman, 45 passed away suddenly on May 26, 2020 at his residence.
He was born in Gaston County, on February 20, 1975. He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Coleman, his grandparents, Leroy and Marie Stines, Reverend Hoyt and Eula Mae Coleman.
Michael was a member of Community Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing and listening to music, fishing and most of all playing pool. He was a pool shark, he was known as one of the best around. Michael never met a stranger. He was a kind hearted man and was a very talented with his wood carving skills.
He often worked in construction driving a forklift.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving mother, Brenda Stines Coleman;
his children, Katelin (Robert) Johnson and their girls, Lilianna and Emma Johnson, Cody (Hannah) Coleman, Trey Coleman.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Friday, May 29th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 in the Chapel with Pastor Greg Hager officiating. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Luke section.
Pallbearers will be Josh Wyatt, Robert Johnson, Darrian Houser, David Stines II,
Danny Stines and Thomas McGee, Jr.
