Dallas – Michael Eugene Bryson, 60, was called home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2016.
He was a native of Gaston County, born May 18, 1955 to the late Gene and Jetta Williamson Bryson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Vionna Bryson.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mike was a member of Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, where he loved cooking and serving dinners for his church family. He also was a volunteer at the Dallas Christian Ministry, after retiring from Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Charlotte Douglas Airport. Mike was a kind, caring, and loving man who had a true servant's heart.
Left to cherish his memories include his wife of 31 years, Dana Ray Bryson, sons Zachary Bryson (Whitney), Cameron Bryson (Kelsey), Michael Bryson (Kammie);
grandchildren Brooklyn Bryson, Karrigan Bryson and Lincoln Bryson;
brothers and sisters Johnny Bryson (Carolyn), Sandy Harwell (Bob), Elizabeth Glover, Charles Bryson (Sherry) and Jeff Bryson (Tracy), and special nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.
The family expresses heartfelt appreciation to Cindy Mitchell and Tammy Rhyne for their wonderful and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas-Stanley Highway, Dallas, NC, on Monday, January 25th at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Fred Morrison and Reverend Fain Farmer officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm prior to service.
Burial will be private.
