Gastonia- Melinda "Bub" Knight, 44 passed away August 4, 2014.
She was born in Massillon, Ohio on May 13, 1970 to Danny Knight and the late Martha Knight.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Sue Huegle Knight.
Bub was a graduate of South Point High School, and had received a degree in Medical Transcript and Business Administration.
Bub is survived by the love of her life, her son, Eric-Chance Knight;
husband and companion Ricky Perry; Parents, Danny and Melba Knight; sisters, Donna Wallace and Terri Wooten; brothers Daniel and Travis Knight; Nieces, Melissa and Erica Durbin, Addison Knight and Jessica ; Nephews, Ronnie and Jesse Wooten and David Knight.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00pm with a Memorial service to follow at 6:00pm Monday, August 11th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of her sister Donna Wallace, 4855 Verde View Drive, Gastonia, NC
