Gastonia - Melinda Ann Williams Adams, 58, passed away on October 3, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina on May 1, 1963, and is the daughter of the late Jimmy and Edith Holland Williams.
Melinda worked in the Home Health Care profession and loved taking care of kids, spending time with family, making memories, vacations to the beach, and camping.
Melinda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will truly be missed by so many.
Melinda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Kendall Adams, Jr.; 4 loving daughters, Amanda Williams, Dana Adams, Kim Lay and husband Josh, Jessica Adams and fiancé Adam Arthur; several brothers and sisters; her grandchildren, whom she adored, Tyler, Adrian, Ryleigh, Kaitlyn, Johnny, Oliver, Owen and Mason.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Lawing officiating. The family will speak to family and friends following the Memorial Service.
Inurnment will be private and at a later date.
Melinda was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Lexi Williams; grandson, Ethan Britt.
