Gastonia- Mr. Max Ober, 94 passed away peacefully on August 1, 2016 at his residence..
He was a native of Erie, PA, born May 3, 1922 to the late Paul and Bertha Janeski Obuszewsk.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Biggerstaff;
sister Emily Digello and a brother Ronald Obuszewski
Max was a US Army veteran and had retired as a foreman in the foundry.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Irene Novotny Ober; his daughter, Michele Schloss and husband Marty; grandchildren, Martin Schloss, Theresa Schloss, and Elizabeth Edelman; great grandchildren, Jackson Schloss and Kaitlyn Edelman
