He was a native of Gaston County, born June 23, 1957, son of the late J.D. and Peggy Deal Barker.
Survivors include his children,Matthew Barker and Amiee Barker
Soulmate, Debra Matthews and a bestfriend since 3rd grade, Rodney Hawkins; Sister, Deborah Ann Barker and a brother, Mark Douglas Barker
Family will receive friends 7:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
