Mark Anthony Ewing

Mark Anthony Ewing, 49 of Gastonia passed away at Presbyterian Hospital May 28, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

He was a native of Gaston Co., NC, born January 26, 1964 to Lucille Hardee Ewing and the late Alfred Mason Ewing, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his father.
Mark was a member of Linwood EPC and had worked for US Foods for 25 years.
He was a wonderful and loving husband and father.

Survivors include his wife, Christy Williams Ewing;
his mother Lucille Hardee Ewing;
his daughters, Whitney and Madison Panter;
brothers Mason Ewing and wife Penny, Michael Ewing and wife Camille, Mitch Ewing and wife Angie,
sisters Renee Ewing, Robin Padgett and husband Monty,
Allison Hovis and husband Chris; brother-in-law Jason Williams and wife Shannon; special companions Louie and Zoey
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm Saturday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, June 2th at 3:00pm at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with the Commissioner Tracy Philbeck officiating.
Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery "A Quiet Place"
Pallbearers will be Mason, Mitch and Michael Ewing, David Corbett, John Kymla, Lattimore Ormand and Honorary Pallbearers Monty Padgett and Doug Barrett
