Gastonia- Maria Roumadgis Hadgisideris, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 6, 2013.
She was a native of Greece, born November 24, 1926.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Loulouthe Hadgisideris, and her husband of 61 years, Kosta Hadgisideris.
Survivors include her daughter, Anthe Parthenakis and son-in-law, James Parthenakis, grandchildren George Parthenakis, Peter Parthenakis, and Maria and Doug Hartemann; great grandchildren Jacob Hartemann, Sophia Hartemann, and Maneeda Parthenakis; sisters Despina Gerodithakis and Georgia Giannakou (both living in Greece).
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday, September 9 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Fr. Steve Dalber and Fr. John Wallace officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery "A Quiet Place", 1452 Armstrong Ford Road, Belmont, NC.
