Margie Carpenter Ray, 86 passed away May 13, 2013 at Brian Center.
She was a native of Gaston County, NC. born December 16, 1926 to the late Mark and Fannie Mae Ernie Carpenter.
Margie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Milton Ray, and sons Richard and Howard Ray
Survivors include her son, Reverend Bobby G. Ray and wife Rev. Cathy Ray, daughter in law Patricia Ray, eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Assembly of Faith, 1030 Lower Dallas Road, Dallas
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park
