Gastonia ' Margie Payne Lewis, 88, of 783 Log Cabin Drive, Gastonia
passed away May 18, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Gaston County, born July 16, 1923 to the late Lawrence and Margaret Tidwell Payne.
She was also preceded in death by a son Frankie Allen Lewis who died in 2002
Margie was a member of McAdenville Wesleyan Church, and had retired from Eagle Mill with over 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Frank Lewis
A son, Gary Lewis of Alexis; and a her grandchildren Greg and wife Connie, Traci, Shannon and Amy; Several great grandchildren
And a brother Bob Payne of Gastonia
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00pm Monday, May 21, 2012 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Matherlee officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm prior to the service
Interment will be Private at Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Brian Matherlee
