Stanley – Margie Ellen Taylor Roberts, 79 passed away peacefully on November 29, 2017 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Chester, South Carolina on June 21, 1938 to the late Clarence William and Nina Crouch Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Clint Sarvis Roberts, and her brothers, Clarence and Harvey Taylor, her sisters Lois Lindsey and Nancy Grant.

Margie was retired from Pharr Yarns with over 30 years of service. Margie was MOST PROUD of her family!! She was a mama and granny who will be greatly missed!

Left to cherish her memories includes her loving family, daughter, Mary Martin and husband Roy, her sons, Billy Joe Roberts and Tommy Roberts, Sr. and wife Elaine;
Grandchildren; Melanie, Tommy, Jr., Billy, Amanda, Angel, Becky, Clint, Travis, Timmy, Suzanna and Jennifer; 23 great grandchildren; brothers; Joe Taylor and wife Judy, Billy Taylor and wife Adell; and the father of her children, William Farrell Roberts

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday December 2nd at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 3rd in the Chapel of Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens, Cherry 2 section, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy., Mt. Holly with the releasing of the doves. And other times at Tommy Roberts, Jr., 110 Jennings Road, Dallas

Pallbearers will be Tommy Roberts, Jr., Sid Gillispie, Billy Roberts, Jr., Austin Roberts, Robert Taylor, Mark Harrison, Cameron Roberts and Nathan Gillispie
