Gastonia – Margarita Ortiz Brafford, 78, passed away on September 29, 2020 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation – Gastonia.
She was born in Mexico on October 25, 1941 to the late Zabino and Guadalupe Marquez Ortiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Brafford and a brother Francisco Ortiz.
Margarita was raised in a family of circus performers where she had been performing since the age of 5! This allowed their family to travel and see many places during her lifetime.
Margarita is survived by her loving daughter, Jacqueline Brafford;
her sisters, Silvia Luna and Lupe Gutierrez;
brothers, Carlos and Ricardo Ortiz and many nieces and nephews.
