Margaret Sisk Gunter

Gastonia- Margaret Elizabeth Sisk Gunter, 88, passed away peacefully at home May 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born in Lincoln County, NC on September 7, 1926 to the late Billy and Lula Bryte Sisk
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Todd Brown and brothers, Louie R. Sisk and Erskine Sisk and sister, Elmer Dare Sisk.
She was a loving wife and wonderful mother and grandmother. Margaret loved spending time with family and was the BEST cook. She enjoyed singing and traveling with her husband. She will be greatly missed by all!
Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Elder Eugene Homer Gunter, son, Billy Erskine Gunter and Tammy of Gastonia; daughter, Geraldine Gunter Brown and husband Randy of Gastonia;
Grandchildren, Michael Scott Brown and Annette; Jeffrey Wayne Brown and wife, Sara;
Kerry Robinson and husband Chad;
Great Grandchildren; Elizabeth, Mariane, Dillion, Colton and Collin
special niece, Carolyn Hinson and husband James of Rock Hill, SC;
Funeral service will be Thursday, May 7th at 1:00 pm at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Elder Lowell Hopkins and Elder Carlton Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 pm, prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Michael and Jeffrey Brown, Chad Robinson, Ricky Hinson, Bob Rhinehardt and Dr. Fred Morgan.
