Gastonia – Margaret Adams Goffee, 89 passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018 at her residence.
She was born in Pittsburg, PA on June 11, 1929 to the late Peter and Anna Jakusbin Adams.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph Edward Goffee and a granddaughter, Angela Shuffler Turner; and fur babies Cujo, Sam and Taz.
Margaret was retired from Garlock which changed to Coleman Cocker and later Precision Machine.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed!
Left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Jan Shuffler,
her grandson, Brian Shuffler; great grandchildren Joseph Turner and Caroline T. (Nick) Hipp; sister-in-law, Lucille Goffee (Kary) Bates; special girls, Sonya Duncan and family, Suzanne Stewart and family; and beloved fur baby Lucky.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation (www.kidneyfund.org/), Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org/) or Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June30th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home
