Gastonia – Manota Guest Lee, 82, entered into her Heavenly Home on October 21, 2015 at Carolina Care Cherryville

She was born in Swain County, NC on July 26, 1933 to the late John K. and Callie Taylor Guest

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Gene Tunney Lee
9 brothers and sisters and a son-in-law, Johnny Pennell

Manota was a loving mother, grandmother who will be missed greatly! Manota was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She loved her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed bowling and gardening. She retired from PAMA Manufacturing after 27 years of dedicated service.

Left to cherish her memories include sons, Alan "Buzzy" Lee and wife Cathy; Bill Lee and wife Tammy;
Daughter, Sandra Pennell; Special niece, Debbie Kennedy; brother, J.R. Guest
Grandchildren; Jeremy Alan Lee, Blair Scott Lee, Chris Lee, Shane Ingram, Jonathan Pennell, Susan Lee, Nicole Rinehart;
great grandchildren; Kyle, Hailey, Breanna, Josh, Katie and Jake;
great-great grandchildren; Killian, Cameron, Victoria and Dillon

The family will receive friends from 7:30 – 9:00 pm on Friday, October 23rd at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home

A Celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 24th at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Fain Farmer officiating.

Interment will follow in the afternoon at Euchella Cemetery in Bryson City, NC

Pallbearers will be Larry Pennell, Jeremy Lee, Shane Ingram, Chris Guest, Eddie Guest, and Tim Guest
