Gastonia – Manda Hoffman Howe, 55 passed away suddenly on June 24, 2016.

She was born in Gaston County on March 24, 1961 to the late Early Fred Hoffman and Ruth Black Hoffman.

Manda was a member of Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church where she was also in the Hand bell Choir. Manda lived by the mantra of "the more the merrier". Having kids at the pool was her favorite thing to do. She found good in everyone she met. She was co-owner of the family business R.O.'s BBQ. She was a cosmologist, and if you're reading this, then she's most likely cut your hair.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband of 30 years, Doug Howe; her children Hannah, Ruthie and Harrison Howe; brothers Mark Timothy Hoffman (Debbie) and Alexander Fred "Sandy" Hoffman; and also leaves behind numerous loving nephews, nieces, and other extended relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 28th from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a 3:00 pm celebration of life service to follow in the Chapel with Reverend Debra Short officiating, with the releasing of the doves to follow.
